They were celebrating in Alamo Heights Saturday night after the boys soccer team defeated Wichita Falls Rider in the Class 4A state finals.
There was no score until the fifth minute, when the Mules' Luke Donally centers it and Matt Struble headed it to put Alamo Heights on the board 1-0.

But the game would need extra time to decide who was state champ.
In overtime, the Raiders were leading 2-1.
Off the penalty kick, the Mules' Alek Trimple tied it at 2-all.
So it went to a shootout and Heights was leading 3-2.
Heights goalie Zac Jones made the stop and as a result, Alamo Heights wins their second state title in soccer.
