Temple Run is a fun and addictive game that pits friend against friend, about who can get the highest score. The app of the day is the latest version of the game, based on the Disney/Pixar film, Brave. In this version, you play the movie's main character, Merida, as she runs from a large black bear. The gameplay remains relatively unchanged. You can run, duck, jump, and turn sharp corners at the last minute, all while collecting coins for points. The object is to see how long you can last, and how high a score you can get, before the bear gets you. There is also a new feature, you can shoot arrows at targets as you run, for extra coins. The gameplay is simple, but addictive.
There are versions for the iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Android devices, each one costs 99-cents.
