Popular hamburger purveyors Whataburger announced Tuesday that the company is, for the first time, entering into retail sales by bottling its condiments to sell in HEBs across Texas and Mexico.
Whataburger's Fancy Ketchup and new Spicy Ketchup will be available for purchase in 20-ounce bottles and its Original Mustard will be available in 16-ounce bottles.
In addition, HEB is launching another Whataburger-branded product called "Whatafries," a potato chip version of their French fries to be available in a 7.4-ounce bag.
Both the bottled condiments and Whatafries will debut exclusively at HEB stores in Texas and Mexico this summer.
Whataburger fanatic -- and KSAT producer -- Sean Talbot said Tuesday's announcement is fantastic news.
"Words cannot express my excitement," he said.
Lastly, Whataburger CEO Preston Atkinson announced at Tuesday's biannual Whataburger Family Convention that their jalapeno-infused Spicy Ketchup will become a permanent condiment at all of its 740+ restaurants across the company's 10-state reach.
