SAN ANTONIO – The Texas Department of Public safety says a man identified as Adam Hanna, 24, was running an illegal security agency and working with a northwest San Antonio nightclub when he didn't have the proper licensing.
An arrest warrant affidavit stated that Hanna is the owner of S.W.A.T. Security Solutions.
According to an internet profile, the San Antonio based company provides everything from private security to special response teams in this region as well as Austin, Houston and Dallas.
DPS investigators said Hanna was providing security services to EJ Entertainment, located in the 5200 block of Fredericksburg Road, when he does not have a license to do so, the affidavit stated.
Under state law, proper licensing is required in order for a company to offer any guard or bouncer type services.
Hanna was arrested and booked into the Bexar County jail Thursday on a charge of operating a security agency without a license.
