During last season of 'The Bachelor,' I watched in shock as Sean Lowe said goodbye to Desiree Hartsock. The pair appeared to have a real connection.
Desiree's spunky personality and love of life were contagious. Now she is back and eager to find her Prince Charming.

Emotions were raw during the first episode of Season 9 of 'The Bachelorette.'
Desiree described herself as a modern day Cinderella. Growing up in humble means, she painted a picture of a childhood filled with love. Taking nothing for granted, Desiree said she hopes to find a love like her parents have shared.
I wanted to cheer with excitement as she walked into the Malibu house she will be staying in, and was handed the keys to her baby blue Bentley.
Then it was time to meet the 25 men who will be fighting for her heart.
I was so nervous as the limos arrived. One by one, each of the men tried to make a memorable first impression.
The awkwardness peaked as Diogo walked out of the limo in a suit of armor. It was clear Desiree was not impressed. I was not surprised he did not get more screen time or a rose at the end of the episode.
My heart melted during Ben's entrance. He brought his son Brody, who presented Desiree with a flower. I was so glad to see he got the first rose of the night.
There was no shortage of strained smiles, bizarre hugs, and the usual "one liners."
The cocktail party that followed was full of unexpected twists and turns.
I cheered on Desiree as she sent Johnathan home after his third attempt to get her into his "fantasy suite."
In the end, 25 men entered, and only 19 received roses.
After seeing this seasons batch of men, here are the ones I think we should watch out for:
- Bryden: Iraq War veteran from Missoula, Montana
- Drew: Digital Marketing Analyst from Scottsdale, Arizona
- Robert: Advertising Entrepreneur from Los Angeles, California
- Brandon: Painting Contractor from Costa Mesa, California
- Ben: Entrepreneur from Dallas, Texas
No doubt this season will be full of tears, drama, and surprises.
But will she find her Prince Charming? This 'Bachelorette' junkie is hopeful this fairytale will have a happy ending.
Stay tuned Monday night for episode 2 airing at 7 p.m. on KSAT 12.
