SAN ANTONIO – Sears is again recalling nearly 800,000 dehumidifiers after the Consumer Product Safety Commission www.cpsc.gov received nearly 100 reports of fires.
Seven fires have been reported since last August when Sears initially recalled the product.
However, consumer response to the recall was limited.
The recall involves 35-, 50-, and 70-pint models with the Kenmore label. They were made by LG between 2003 and 2005.
Masterbuilt recalled thousands of electric smokers after reports of six fires.
The problem with the chips tray can lead to combustion and even blowing the doors off the smoker.
They were sold at Bass Pro Shops and Cabelas last summer.
Thousands of LED lanterns sold at REI stores have been recalled because the charger can be a fire hazard.
The UCO Arka LED lantern also functions as a flashlight and USB charger.
And, there's another baby bath seat recall.
This time it's the Aquababy Bath Ring seats by Thermobaby. They don't meet federal stability standards.
If they tip over, that poses a drowning danger.
