SAN ANTONIO – A standoff in Live Oak that lasted nearly 10 hours ended with a man in custody Tuesday evening.
Live Oak police were called to the Villas at Mira Loma in the 15000 block of Lookout Road around 1:30 p.m. because a man refused to come out of an apartment.

Officers negotiated with the suspect for several hours before the man surrendered without incident.
The suspect was identified as 28-year old Jonathon Leffers. Police have not said why Leffers refused to come out of the apartment. Charges were unknown Tuesday night and no injuries were reported.
