Part of the Quarry Market is, literally, going to the dogs on Monday, as the area around Canyon Cafe will be transformed into an outdoor restaurant for pets.
The San Antonio Humane Society's annual fundraiser, "Paws on the Patio" allows dogs and their owners to enjoy a special meal in the spirit of Halloween.

"It's going to be a lot of excitement. You'll be able to see lots of people in costume and, more importantly, lots of dogs in costume," said Seamus Nelson, spokesman for the San Antonio Humane Society.
Canyon Café has hosted the event for the last decade, turning their parking lot into a dog-friendly eatery, and prepares for weeks for the hundreds who attend.
"It's really important for Canyon Café to give back to their community," said Canyon Café's manager, Shannon Busick. "The Humane Society, they do so much work, and it's a good way to bring everybody in, get them involved, and raise some good money for the pups."
The doggie dinner consists of three courses, the Spell-Bound Salad, the Monster Mash, and the Pup-sicle Potion for dessert.
Proceeds from each $12 meal will go directly to the San Antonio Humane Society.
Paws on the Patio will take place Monday, Oct. 28, from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. at the Canyon Café at the Quarry.
Pets and owners are encouraged to wear costumes.
