Friday will mark the 50th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
Many people may not be aware of it, but Ripley's Believe It Or Not!, located across from the Alamo, has some unusual artifacts from the incident.
Among the oddities at the museum is an exhibit tied into the assassination, including a 1954 Chevrolet.
On Nov. 2,1963, Buell Frazier, the owner of the car, gave his neighbor Lee Harvey Oswald a ride to the Texas School Book Depository, not knowing Oswald was planning to assassinate the president.
Frazier said he was so guilt-ridden that he later sold the car for just $10.
"It's very haunting to know that this car goes down in history in the killing on of our presidents," said tourist Terrance Neal, who was visiting the museum on Wednesday. "It's very chilling. I get goose bumps."
Other artifacts include Oswalds' toe tag from the morgue, along with a lock of his hair.
Also on display is the bullet casing from the gun used to kill Oswald and a newspaper clipping with his autopsy photo.
The exhibit has been at the museum since it opened in 2008 but this year it has even more significance.
"Since it is the 50th anniversary of the assassination of the president, there just seems to be a key interest in it now," said Janie Droemer, marketing director for the museum.
On Saturday, Nov. 23, Ripley's Believe It Or Not will celebrate it's 25th anniversary in San Antonio.
As part of the festivities, they will offer 50 percent off admission on three-way combination tickets for adults and children -- Louis Tussaud's Wax Works, Ripley's Believe It or Not! and Ripley's Moving Theater 4D.
