A man was shot and killed outside a South Side bar early Monday morning, San Antonio police said.
The shooting occurred around 1:30 a.m. as 35-year-old Ivan Mancinas was leaving Tres Amigas Bar in the 10700 block of Pleasanton Road with four friends, police said.
Witnesses said the shooter walked up to Mancinas as he headed to his car and opened fire on him.
The suspect fired several rounds and shot Mancinas once in the torso and twice in the head.
Witnesses told police the gunman had also been inside the bar, however there were conflicting stories about the motive for the shooting.
Some witnesses told police Mancinas got into an argument with the shooter as he was leaving the bar.
Others told investigators the two never exchanged words inside the bar, and the shooting came out of nowhere.
Mancinas' friends were not able to identify the suspected shooter, but told police he fled in a grey Dodge pickup truck.
Mancinas was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspected shooter remained at-large as of 11 a.m. Monday.
