SAN ANTONIO – The United States Marshals Service Lone Star Fugitive Task Force (LSFTF) captured and arrested a fugitive Wednesday after it was alleged that he violated conditions of his supervised release.
An arrest warrant was issued for 42-year-old Gino Gambino-Andolini by the United States Probation Office (USPO) after the allegations were made that he failed to report for drug testing and absconded from supervision.

Gambino-Andolini was found to be hiding out at a Red Roof Inn off of North West Loop 410. Task force officers conducted surveillance on the hotel, where they observed Gambino-Andolini exiting a room.
After identifying themselves, task force officers took Gambino-Andolini into custody without incident.
Officers seized more than seven grams of methamphetamines, more than two grams of marijuana and what appeared to be tools used for forgery from the hotel room.
In addition to allegations that Gambino-Andolini violated his supervised release, he has also been under investigation as a possible suspect in a string of bank fraud crimes.
Gambino-Andolini was previously sentenced in October of 2011 to four years in federal prison after being convicted for six counts of bank fraud and aiding and abetting.
Gambino-Andolini is currently being held in federal custody and may face additional charges for bank fraud crimes.
Three additional fugitives who had active arrest warrants were arrested from the hotel room.
Robert R. Almonte, United States Marshal for the Western District of Texas, stated, "Task force officers did an outstanding job apprehending this elusive fugitive and with this arrest, put other dangerous fugitives behind bars and potentially ended a spree of financial crimes."
