Interim head coach named for Judson football program

Tivy defensive coordinator Sean McAuliffe named Judson head coach

Judson Independent School District has named Sean McAuliffe as the Judson High School interim head football coach.

McAuliffe graduated from Judson in 1993 and has been serving as the team's defensive coordinator, assistant head coach as well as defensive line coach.

He has 15 years of coaching experience with stops at Jersey Village High School in the Houston area, Lake Travis and Holmes in San Antonio.

Before coming to Judson he was the defensive coordinator at Kerrville Tivy High School under coach Mark Smith. 

McAuliffe is a graduate of Angelo State University with a M.Ed. from Texas Tech University in educational leadership.

He and his wife Mary have two boys.

Judson ISD Superintendent Dr. Willis Mackey named McAuliffe as interim head football coach after a recommendation from District Boys Athletic Director Mike Miller.
