Seguin police: Ryan Lee Oliver found with heroin, cash in hotel room

The day before a Mexican Mafia member was arrested in Seguin, police there also arrested a member of the Aryan Brotherhood on drug charges.

According to Seguin police, Ryan Lee Oliver was arrested Tuesday on a charge of manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance after investigators found drugs and drug paraphernalia in his hotel room.

Investigators said an anonymous tip led them to a hotel in the 800 block of East Kingsbury Street.

Inside Oliver's room, police found 14.5 grams of heroin and $340 in cash.

He was booked into the Guadalupe County Jail on a $15,000 bond. He remained in jail as of Thursday morning.

The following day, Seguin police arrested Jessie Salazar III, whom they describe as a high-ranking Mexican Mafia member, on charges including burglary of a habitation with intent to commit a felony, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, retaliation for threatening a police officer, and manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance

Detectives seized multiple computers, laptops, electronic storage devices, 29 grams of methamphetamine and more than $10,000 in cash from Salazar's home.
