The name of a woman found dead in her southwest side home Friday has been released.
Alma De La Rosa, 30, was found in her bedroom around 5 p.m. at her home in the 8700 block of Yellow Knife.
Police investigators said the woman's father came to the home and kids inside the home let him in.
The kids told her father that she was asleep, but the door to her room was locked. When they opened it, they found her dead with trauma to the head.
An autopsy will be done to determine the cause of death.
