Reward offered in Southeast Side slaying

Christopher Allen, 24, killed earlier this month

San Antonio police are asking for the public's help finding the person who killed Christopher Allen, 24, earlier this month.

Allen's body was found in a field on the city's Southeast Side. His mother, Darlene Guerrero, just wants justice for her son.

"It's just not fair what they did to my son. He didn't deserve to die like this," said Guerrero.

When the passerby found Allen's body, it was already badly decomposed.

Family members believe he was killed by somebody he knew.

"I know somebody just got him and dumped him. He wouldn't be nowhere near (there). He didn't have a car, he was walking, (so) why would he walk over (there)," said Guerrero.

Family members reported him missing on April 30, more than a week later his body was found.

He was a father and the eldest of six kids. His brother, Samuel Guerrero, still cannot believe he is gone.

"He had a good heart. He use to come kick back with us at the house. He never wished anything upon nobody," said Samuel Guerrero.

His family is hoping the public can help solve his murder.

"Somebody had to know this place, exactly the point where they left him at," said his brother.

"If you have information just say what happened to my son because he doesn't deserve this, he needs to be at peace, " said his mother.

If you have any information that could help police, you are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 224-STOP.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information which leads to the arrest of anyone involved in this murder.
