PASADENA, Texas – A former Houston-area biology and cheerleading instructor who allegedly provided a nude photo of herself to a student has been accused of having sex with him.
The Pasadena Independent School District launched an investigation after the photo turned up on cellphones of some students.

Ashley Zehnder was charged Monday with having an improper relationship with a student.
No publicly listed number could immediately be located Tuesday for the 24-year-old Zehnder, who's free on $10,000 bond.
Court documents indicate the teen lost his cellphone, Zehnder let him use hers to help locate his device and the two began texting.
Zehnder allegedly provided a nude photo, which he shared with others. Investigators say the pair had a sexual relationship last summer at her home.
According to KRPC-TV Houston, court records indicated messages on their phones led to confessions.
Police wrote the student admitted to sending the nude photo of Zehnder to his friends and Zehnder "initially denied any relationship, however after being confronted with the phone messages on the Complainant's phone, she ultimately admitted to having sexual contact."
Zehnder resigned Oct. 9 amid the investigation.
