SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio fire crews battled a house fire early Tuesday morning believed to have been caused by a propane tank explosion.
SAFD crews responded to the fire just after 2 a.m. in the 1100 block of Mesa Blanca near Blanco Road and Loop 1604.
Firefighters arrived to find a propane tank near a BBQ pit had exploded near the back of the house.
Officials said everyone inside the home made it out safe and crews extiguished the fire. Damage estimates were unknown.
