Dallas Cowboys 2015 schedule released

The NFL announced the 2015 schedule Wednesday, and at least six national television appearances highlight the Dallas Cowboys upcoming season.

The Cowboys schedule currently features five games that are going to be broadcast nationally in primetime, including three from AT&T Stadium.

The 2015 regular season opens on Sept. 13 when the Cowboys host the N.Y. Giants on Sunday night. This season is the third straight in which the club will open at home.

Dallas hits the road the next week to face Philadelphia on Sept. 20 before closing out September at home against Atlanta (Sept. 27).

Dallas opens October on Sunday night, Oct. 4 at New Orleans before returning home to take on the Super Bowl XLIX champion New England Patriots on Oct. 11.

The Cowboys will enjoy their bye week for Week 6 (Oct. 18), then return to action at the N.Y. Giants on Oct. 25. 

November opens with back-to-back home bouts, first against Seattle on Nov. 1 then against Philadelphia on Sunday night, Nov. 8.

Dallas then hits the road for two weeks with consecutive games in Florida, first at Tampa Bay (Nov. 15) then at Miami (Nov. 22), before returning home for the annual Thanksgiving Day game. This year, Dallas will take on the Carolina Panthers on CBS for the traditional holiday game.

Dallas' December opens on Monday night Dec. 7 at Washington and continues on the road the next week at Green Bay on Dec. 13.

After the road games, the Cowboys will host the N.Y. Jets on the NFL Network on Saturday night (Dec. 19) before closing out the road schedule with a contest at Buffalo on Dec. 27.

Dallas closes the season at home for the second time in three years, playing host to Washington. The 2015 season is the second (2013) since 1998 that Dallas will open and close the season at home.
