If you've seen a truck hauling items and wondered if it's legal, Officer Marcus Trujillo explains the driver's responsibility.
"We've all seen it - those trucks driving up and down the highway with loose articles in the beds of the pickup truck. The rule is: anything that you're transporting in the bed of your pickup - whether it be brush, ladders, tarps or anything else - you need to secure that load prior to getting up on the highway. Anything falls out of that truck, that's going to be your responsibility."
