SAN ANTONIO – A man who was beat as he worked at a La Taqueria Mexican Restaurant as a security guard on Nov. 1 died on May 19. Police are now searching for the two people responsible.
According to police, two people pulled up to the restaurant at 7176 Somerset Road in the early morning hours in a late '90s model Ford F-150.

The passenger, described by police as a white or Hispanic man with collar-length hair, got out of the truck and beat Jose Samuel Fernandez.
Police said as a result of that beating, the man suffered significant head trauma and died nearly seven months later.
The truck is two-toned, has an extended cab, a chrome toolbox in the bed and a trailer hitch receiver attached to the rear bumper, according to police.
