Judson ISD teachers to receive pay raise

SAN ANTONIO – The Judson Independent School District approved a new budget Tuesday for the 2015-2016 school year, included in the budget plan are pay raises for staff.

At least $1,600 for teachers, nurses and librarians passed, which will bring the starting salary for teachers in the district to more than $50,000 a year.

Bus drivers are also expected to receive a raise.
