Henry Gutierrez found shot to death on Christmas Eve

SCHERTZ, Texas – The family of Henry Gutierrez spoke publicly for the first time since he was found murdered on Christmas Eve.

“Our father's murder on Christmas Eve created a tremendous hole in our lives," Miguel Gutierrez said.

The family addressed his Christmas Eve murder for the first time on Sunday.

He was found by his after he did not show up for work. Police said he was shot multiple times.

"It's been a little rough but the good Lord willing we'll be OK," said George Gutierrez, Henry Gutierrez’s uncle.

Miguel Gutierrez took time to thank everyone who came out to Sunday’s memorial.

"I'm thankful for everybody who took time out this Sunday to come out here and be with us," he said.

Earlier this week Schertz police released surveillance photos of persons of interest.

The pictures show a woman leaving a Target store days after the murder. Police said missing gift cards were used at Target and Academy stores in the Houston-area.

The Guadalupe County Crime Stoppers is offering a $15,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest. They can be contacted at 877-403-TIPS.
