Kirby PD: 3 people shot, police at multiple crime scene locations

Shooting occurred at an apartment complex

KIRBY, Texas – Police in Kirby are investigating shootings that left three people injured.

KPD said officers investigated the shootings at various locations, including a car wash near the intersection Old Seguin and Ackerman roads.

Police said the gunfire began just before 2:30 p.m. They are looking for three shooters.

Investigators at the scene tell KSAT that the shooting occurred at the Springfield Manor Apartments near Charles Conrad and Old Seguin roads. Police said the men were there to retrieve some property.

That is when gunfire rang out. One man was shot in his backside, the second was shot in the leg and the third victim was shot twice in his abdomen.

One of the victims was then taken to a nearby car wash where a friend called 911.

The three men shot are all in their 20s and were taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center.

According to neighbors, all the suspects and the victims are related.
