SAN ANTONIO – A former AT&T technician was arrested Friday, accused of taking inappropriate images of a client when he was in her house. Matthew Lora was charged with invasive visual recording.
Lora posted the $10,000 bond and left jail Monday evening.
The indictment showed the inappropriate images were allegedly taken on Sept. 22, when Lora was at a client's house. He allegedly recorded visuals on his phone of an "intimate area" of a person at the house without her consent. San Antonio police obtained a warrant last week.
Monday, an AT&T representative confirmed Lora did work for the company.
In a statement she said: "Obviously allegations like this are very troubling and we certainly do not tolerate that kind of conduct. We conducted an internal investigation and cooperated with San Antonio Police on their investigation. Mr. Lora is no longer an employee of ours."
That AT&T representative went on to say Lora did go through a background check, just like every AT&T and vendor employee.
Next, Lora will go to his arraignment hearing, which has not been set yet.
