SAN ANTONIO – It could be a hail of a deal if you're buying a car.
BMW of San Antonio and several Ancira dealerships plan to unload hail-damaged cars at discounted prices in "hail sales."

The majority of cars at San Antonio BMW and Ancira's Nissan and Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge, Ram dealerships suffered hail damages in Tuesday night's hail storm, the companies said. Some cars at Ancira Kia also suffered damages.
Some cars sported broken windows, others had pockmarked hoods and roofs.
BMW Service Manager Allie Cook said about 30 percent of the damaged cars on their lot are totaled and won't be available for sale. Insurance adjusters are looking other 70 percent, she said, and will be repaired and sold at discount.
April Ancira, of the San Antonio Ancira dealerships, said the Ancira dealerships would fix some cars up and sell at a discount and sell other, unrepaired cars at a deeper discount.
Hail sales are also taking place at North Star Dodge at 7242 San Pedro Ave. and West Loop Mitsubishi at 7007 NW Loop 410.
