SAN ANTONIO – It was confirmed Monday two more people from San Antonio were among the 16 killed in a hot air balloon crash near Lockhart this past weekend.
Tressie Neill and her husband were on board the balloon.

According to a public fundraising website, the Neills were married for 23 years. They leave behind two daughters, 20 and 16.
Sixteen people were on board the hot air balloon Saturday when it came into contact with a high-voltage power line and caught fire.
Tressie spent nearly a quarter century working at CPS Energy. In a statement the company said,
The CPS Energy family is deeply saddened by the news that our own Tressie Neill and her husband Brian passed away this weekend. Tressie was known to many of our 3,000-plus employees to be a warmhearted person who was always ready to help a friend and offer words of encouragement. She worked at CPS Energy for almost 25 years and will be missed by her many friends and co-workers she’s touched over the years. Grief counselors were on site this morning to support and comfort those who worked closely with her as we know how difficult this time is for everyone who worked alongside her. Our focus is on Tressie’s daughters and her family and we have reached out to offer and provide support in any way we can.
The National Transportation Safety Board continues its investigation.
On Sunday we learned that Matt Rowan and his wife, Sunday, as well as Lorilee Brabson and her daughter, Paige, all from San Antonio were also aboard the balloon.
