SAN ANTONIO – Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff is inviting the community to help him tackle mental illness and breaking the stigma.
Wolff announced details about a first-of-its-kind conference on mental illness Wednesday. “Pathways to Hope” will be a two-day event that is open to the general public.

Health Collaborative is hosting the event for health care professionals, faith-based organizations and anyone affected by mental illness.
In San Antonio, one in five families have someone living with mental illness. Wolff encourages those who suffer from this to seek help right away.
“Deal with it when it may be at an early stage, rather than waiting ‘til it gets worse,” Wolff said.
The conference will take place Aug. 26 and 27 at the Tobin Center. For more information, visit pathwaystohope.net.
