SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police on Tuesday released the name of a man whose body was found in the trunk of a car that was parked in a Walmart parking lot.
The victim was identified as Jerry Gonzaba, 63.

Gonzaba's body was found around 1 a.m. Friday in the store parking lot in the 8500 block of Interstate 35.
The victim was believed to be a probationer who was being sought by federal authorities, police said.
Gonzaba was tracked down when a federal probation officer received an alert from a GPS-enabled ankle monitor that the victim was wearing, police said.
No arrests have been made.
