Cain's daughter called police on June 27 while she was following her mother, who was driving a rental car in College Station, according to a news release from Brazos County.

She asked police to stop and arrest her mother for driving while intoxicated.

College Station police officers stopped Cain in a parking lot near Texas A&M University and found Cain obviously intoxicated with open beer containers in the car. Her blood-alcohol content was .257 percent, police said.

At the time, Cain was on bond for two felony DWIs

in Fort Bend County. She was arrested by Sugar Land police on April 29, 2012, with a BAC of .243 percent and May 18, 2012, with a BAC of .319 percent.

Cain's first DWI conviction was in 1993 and her second was in 2004. She was indicted for her third DWI in Harris County in 2010, but that case was pleaded down to a misdemeanor.
