Surveillance video released Tuesday night showed two suspects from Monday night's convenience store robbery where a clerk was shot.
Video of the men was recorded from multiple store cameras at the Valero on East Southcross Boulevard off South Hackberry Street. Police hope someone will recognize the men and turn them in.
The video showed that the robbery happened in less than a minute.
It was 8:54 Monday evening, when a man with short hair and a red bandana over his face walked in the store, gun outstretched. He immediately crawled over the counter, pointing his gun at the employee. The clerk quickly opened the register.
After the suspect took the money, police stopped the video to highlight part of a tattoo showing from the shooter's right sleeve.
As the man stood on the counter to leave, he turned, pointed the gun towards the clerk again, shot the clerk and then hopped down.
The clock still at 8:54 p.m., the pair ran out of the store. Witnesses said they took off down Hackberry.
A different angle from a different store camera showed the men talking outside the store without the bandanas on. The man with the short hair is the alleged shooter and the man with the long hair is the alleged lookout, who police said kept telling customers to get out of the store.
The clerk who was shot is recovering in the hospital. Police have not given an update on his condition.
Anyone with information on the suspects is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 210-224-7867.
