SAN ANTONIO – Police now know the identity of a man found dead Sunday near a trail at the Olmos Basin Park.
The family of the victim identified him as 19-year-old Michael Moriarty. They said they want to know who killed their loved one.
Police said Moriarty’s body was found early Sunday in the 100 block of Dick Friedrich Drive. A jogger discovered the gruesome crime scene about 8 a.m.
Moriarty was reportedly shot several times. Family members said they don’t know much else about what happened to him.
Police are trying to retrace Moriarty’s steps to figure out where he had been and who he had been with the night of the shooting.
