ATASCOSA COUNTY, Texas – An 11-year-old boy and an 18-year-old woman were killed Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Atascosa County.
Atascosa Sheriff David Soward identified the two killed as Tanner McCleary and Madison McClearly.

The crash happened around 7:30 a.m., when the woman overcorrected her vehicle and went into oncoming traffic, hitting a pickup on FM 1333 north Charlotte, said Sgt. Deon Cockrell of the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Both victims, who attend school in the Jourdanton Independent School District, died at the scene, Cockrell said.
The driver of the pickup was not hurt, Cockrell said.
