WIMBERLEY, Texas – A man shot and killed his wife early Friday morning in Wimberley, officials said.
According to the Hay County Sheriff's Office, Jimmy Lee Rhodes, 68, surrendered peacefully to deputies when they arrived at a home in the Woodcreek North subdivision.

Rhodes told deputies that his wife, Christina Pollock Anderson, 67, was inside the home, sheriff's officials said. When deputies entered the residence, they found Anderson dead.
Rhodes confessed to detectives that he killed his wife, sheriff's officials said.
Rhodes was charged with murder and is being held in the Hays County Jail on $750,000 bail.
