SAN ANTONIO – A father initially charged with capital murder in the 2011 deaths of his daughter, her mother and a family friend will soon be out on parole.
After reaching a plea deal with prosecutors, Conrad Ochoa pled guilty to a child pornography charge, which called for a 10-year prison sentence.
The capital murder charges were later dismissed as part of the deal.

According to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Ochoa is set to be released from a unit in Huntsville on March 7.
Conrad Ochoa, along with his brother, Baron Ochoa, were initially charged with capital murder in the deaths of Conrad Ochoa's daughter, Sammie Ochoa, her mother and a family friend.

All three victims were stabbed to death and their bodies found in their home, which had been set on fire.
The special prosecutor in the case said because the capital murder charges were dismissed "without prejudice," if new evidence is brought forward, the brothers could be reindicted.
In 2016, Baron Ochoa was sentenced to three 55-year stretches that will be served concurrently for continuous sexual abuse of a child and two counts of sexual performance by a child.
