Five tornadoes impacted the San Antonio area on Feb. 19, and Bexar County was declared a disaster area on Friday.
The most extensive damage occurred on the city's North and Northeast sides, but no serious injuries were reported.
"These are fixed-rate loans for homeowners and renters as low as 1.875 percent. For businesses, at 3.15 percent is the lower interest rate and for most nonprofits (it) is 2.5 percent," Garth McDonald with the SBA said.
For people who can’t make it in person they can apply online or call 1-800-659-2955.
The office will be open for 10 days.
