SAN ANTONIO – Blue Buffalo is issuing a nationwide wet dog food recall because of potential health risks.
The affected wet food is Blue Wilderness Rocky Mountain Recipe Read Meat Dinner, with UPC code 840243101153.

The best by date on the can is June 7, 2019.
The food may contain higher levels of naturally occurring beef thyroid hormones, which can cause an increase in thirst and urination, weight loss, increased heart rate and restlessness.
Recalled food should be returned to the store of purchase for a refund or thrown away.
