SAN ANTONIO – Bexar County Commissioner Kevin Wolff was sentenced Wednesday to one year of probation after accepting a plea deal for his drunken driving arrest last year, Bexar County Court at Law No. 4 said.

Wolff was initially charged with driving while intoxicated with a blood-alcohol content greater than 0.15 percent. He accepted a plea deal that reduced the charge to just DWI.

After his arrest, Wolff said he screwed up, “I’m not proud of what I’ve done and I make no excuses.”
Wolff was arrested after he collided with two cars at a Whataburger restaurant in the predawn hours of July 31.
“I’m disappointed in myself and I want to express my sincere apologies to my wife, my daughter, my colleagues on Commissioners Court and my constituents,” Wolff said after his arrest.

Wolff was first elected to San Antonio City Council in 2005 and was elected to Commissioners Court in 2008 and represents Precinct 3.
