AUSTIN – One person was killed and three others were injured Monday during a stabbing on the campus of the University of Texas at Austin.
The injured were taken to a hospital with potentially serious injuries, Austin Travis County EMS said.

Police arrested a 21-year-old student, identified as Kendrex J. White, who was armed with a hunting knife.
University Police Chief David Carter said the attacker did not resist when officers ordered him to the ground at gunpoint.
Police said all the stabbings occurred within a one-block area.
According to Austin Travis County EMS, the incident occurred near the Gregory Gym in the 2100 block of Speedway.
There was no immediate word about a possible motive.
