SAN ANTONIO – Even alleged criminals can have brand loyalty. San Antonio police arrested a man they said bought more than $10,000 worth of stolen power tools.
The man was not identified, because he has not been officially charged.

The Police Department’s Fencing Interdiction Team said the man was buying tools that had been stolen from home improvement stores on the city's Northwest Side.
Though it is unclear if he was selling all of the tools or using them himself, police said it was clear he had a preference for a particular brand.
"Usually some of these other fences take different products and everything, different types of brands, but you notice here everything is strictly all DeWalt tools," Sgt. William Garcia said.
While being escorted to a police patrol unit, the man said he was set up, and claimed the tools came from someone on the OfferUp app.
Police said they found the tools in his apartment, truck and garage. The man is facing at least one charge of retail organized crime.
