BCSO investigating party fight possibly involving off-duty personnel

Fight happened in the 1400 block of Dancing Wolf

BEXAR COUNTY, Texas – Residents in a West Bexar County neighborhood said they are concerned after violence from a brawl at a party spilled over to their street.

Neighbors said the fight happened just before 5 a.m. Sunday in the 1400 block of Dancing Wolf.

Witnesses who did not want to be identified said off-duty Bexar County Sheriff’s Office personnel were part of the fight.

"They kind of had an altercation in front of my home and there were several guys on this one guy," one woman said. "I yelled that I was going to call the police, and by the time I came out, they had already taken off."

Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar released this statement pertaining to the incident:

"The allegations surrounding this incident are quite concerning. BCSO Internal Affairs and Public Integrity are coordinating efforts to determine involvement of BCSO personnel and our response, which will be swift and decisive."

So far, it does not appear that anyone was arrested in this incident, but, according to witnesses, at least one person was severely hurt.
