SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police said a 30-year-old man has been arrested, accused of having sexual relations with a minor on the city's North Side.
Johnny Gonzales Jr. is charged with sexual assault of a child.

According to the arrest warrant affidavit, the incident happened last Friday at a vacant apartment in the 13000 block of Jones Maltsberger Road.
The affidavit said Gonzales works as a maintenance man at the same location and had seen and spoken to the victim on multiple occasions through the course of his work.
The affidavit said the suspect knew the victim was young and always saw her walking around the property. Initially Gonzales denied the allegations and said the victim was following him around but that he did not have sex with her.
The victim's mother called police after finding suspicious texts a few days later.
