SAN ANTONIO – Bill Miller BBQ is offering a free dine-in meal Friday for all law enforcement officers.
Officials with the restaurant say they wanted to show honor and appreciation to local law enforcement for protecting and serving the Alamo city.

The offer is valid for any officer who dines in the restaurant on Friday either in uniform or with a picture ID.
The offer comes the day after two officers were shot as they approached two suspects in the 200 block of West Evergreen Street. Officer Julio Cavazos was shot in the stomach and is still in the hospital. Officer Miguel Moreno was shot in the head. He died from his injuries on Friday morning.
