SAN ANTONIO – Approximately 1,500 drug and alcohol busts were carried out at public schools in the San Antonio area during the 2015-2016 school year, discipline reports show.
Every year campuses report disciplinary incidents to the Texas Education Agency -- from firearms on campus, to felony drug violations, the TEA keeps track of incidents to generate a comprehensive report which can be found here.

The TEA does not provide exact numbers of incidents for campuses with fewer than four of a certain disciplinary incident.
