Parents arrested, children in care of Child Protective Services

No description found

BEXAR COUNTY, Texas – Law enforcement authorities outside Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, have canceled an AMBER Alert for a 1-year-old baby and three other children were found safe in a Northeast Side motel.

The AMBER Alert was issued Saturday for Bracie Shivers, 1, who was last seen with her father Bryant Schivers Jr. and mother Tara Springfield.

A judge had recently taken away Schivers Jr., 37, and Springfield’s, 37, parental rights, according to KOCO.

A spokesperson for the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office said all six were found Saturday evening.

Though other children were found with the pair, it is unclear why they were not part of the initial alert.

Schivers and Springfield were taken into custody and will go before a judge later this week.

The children were taken into the care of Child Protective Services.
