KERRVILLE, Texas – Two teachers at Kerrville Tivy High School have been accused of having improper relationships with students, the district said Thursday morning.
The two incidents are occurred separately and are unrelated to each other, Kerrville Independent School District Superintendt Dr. Mark J. Foust said in a statement addressed to parents.
The first incident was reported Sept. 7. The teacher involved was placed on indefinite administrative leave.
The second incident was reported Sept. 12. That teacher was also placed on indefinite administrative leave.
Foust said Kerrville police are investigating both reports.
"I want you to know that KISD takes these allegations very seriously," Foust said in the letter. "These allegations are of behaviors that will not be tolerated in our school district and that are not indicative of our faculty and staff."
