SAN ANTONIO – A man is recovering at an area hospital after being shot multiple times overnight, San Antonio police said Thursday.

The shooting was reported just after 12:30 a.m. in the 6400 block of Elmer Boulevard, located on the city's West Side.

Police said the man, believed to be in his 30s, was shot several times in both legs.

When asked about the shooting the man was very uncooperative and would not give answers as to who, or why he was shot, police said.

The victim was taken to University Hospital for his injuries.
