SEGUIN, Texas – Three men were arrested in Seguin Tuesday morning. They're accused of dealing methamphetamine among other drugs, police said.
Seguin police executed a search warrant in the 500 block of Avenue C around 10:30 a.m. after what they called an "extensive investigation" into an alleged drug distribution ring run by the 74 Hoover Crips gang.

Officers said they found Donald Matthews Junior, 33, and Gilbert Brown III, 25, who were named in the warrant, inside the home, along with a pound of meth and more than $1,000 in cash.
Police said they found 2 more pounds of meth, a pound of cocaine, a bulletproof vest, an Uzi, a semi-automatic rifle and ammunition inside a vehicle outside the home.
They said those items were linked to Mason Schmidt, 24, an alleged member of the gang.
Officials said Schmidt was arrested nearby and taken to the federal building, where he confessed to ownership of the guns and drugs.
Matthews and Brown were taken to the Guadalupe County Jail on drug possession and organized crime charges.
Schmidt is facing a federal charge of conspiracy to distribute meth.
