Police said a man in his mid-20s told police he was standing outside of his home with a friend  when a blue car with four people inside sped by and one of the people in the car started firing shots at them.

The man was hit once in each leg, while his friend was shot once in the foot.

The people inside the car tried to get away, but did not get very far before crashing. Police confirmed the car used in the shooting was reported stolen.

Everyone inside got out and ran away.

The man who was shot in the foot left before officers got there. The other man was taken to University Hospital in fair condition.

He told officers he did not recognize the suspects, but described them as wearing bandanas and dark-colored clothing.
