SAN ANTONIO – Authorities captured Jesse Ray Castilla, 36, who was wanted in connection with the shooting death of a man whose body was found stuffed in a barrel.
Castilla was arrested without incident on the North Side on Wednesday.

Police believe he was involved in the murder of Joseph Camarena. Camarena's body was found in the early morning hours of Nov. 18 on the city's South Side.
According to a police report, two witnesses told officers that Castilla told them to go to his house to help him put a large plastic barrel in the back of a pickup truck.

Castilla then asked the witnesses to get rid of the barrel in exchange for money, the report said.
The witnesses told police they believed there was a body in the barrel because they saw two feet sticking out of it, police said.
They dropped off the barrel at a turnaround near Texas A&M University-San Antonio, the report said.
