SAN ANTONIO – Two teenagers suspected of taking part in the drive-by shooting that led to a 10-year-old girl's death are gang rivals of the victim's brother, according to San Antonio police.
Cody Gann, 18, and Jasmine Cary, 19, were arrested Thursday night at a Northwest Side motel, police said.

Gann has been charged with murder. Cary was arrested on an outstanding warrant and a charge of evading arrest.

An arrest warrant affidavit said that police believe the pair played a role in the girl's death.
Delilah Hernandez was sleeping in her bedroom Thanksgiving morning when her home in the 200 block of Harwood was blasted with gunfire.
At least one of the shots hit the girl in the chest, killing her.
"It was a terrible, terrible tragedy that this little girl was killed in gang violence that we believe her brother brought home with him," police Chief William McManus said to reporters after the arrests.

McManus said the pair had been having an ongoing dispute with the victim's older brother.
According to the affidavit, the pair believed Hernandez's brother was responsible for prior drive-by shootings at each of their homes.
The affidavit said that a neighbor's surveillance cameras captured images of a vehicle leaving the shooting scene on Harwood, and police linked it to Gann.

Police also received a tip naming both suspects as being involved in the case, the affidavit said.
As the suspects were being led to waiting patrol cars, Cary ignored questions from reporters. Gann spoke briefly, saying he was not guilty.
